Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Today, I had a chance to sleep in after a late night. I then headed to my cousin LeAnn's house to spend the day with her and her family. Upon my arrival Kai talked me into challenging him to a race with his new race car set. I think he gave me the slow car because he won :-) We then exchanged presents and it was wonderful to see each of the kids expression as they opened their gifts. I know the Star Wars toys the boys received were a hit. Anja loved her sunglasses, she made a wonderful slide show with the pictures that she took of herself. Kazia looked very stylish in her new DG sunglasses. Lars and LeAnn were happy with the gift cards they received and I know that they will have fun shopping with them. Now, my gifts were perfect for my upcoming trip to Mexico City. I got a travel journal to document my trip and the exciting things that we will do. I also got some travel candles which will come in handy at the hotel.

After the gift opening, we had a chance to visit with each other. We told stories about some of the crazy things that we do as kids and as adults. The stories prompted a lot of laughs. It is great to reflect on our youthful days and to hear what younger generation does for good clean fun!

We ended our day at the movie theater to watch Bedtime Stories. The movie was cute and had some funny parts. On the way back to the house, we had a chance to share what we thought was the funniest part of the movie. What was great about this was we each had different parts we thought were funny.

It was nice to spend the day with family and I enjoy each of the gatherings that they have.
