I finally made it!!! YES. The decend into Guatemala City was so beautiful. It looked like something you see in a movie or in a picture. The airport is very small however, the people that work there are so friendly. It was a breeze getting through immigration and retrieving my luggage. The weather started off nice and warm and now it is sprinkling.
Right now as I am typing this post, I am sitting outside of my bed and breakfast enjoying the sound of the rain. The bed and breakfast is very small and cozy. The yard is absolutely beautiful with lots of different color flowers (Joe, you would love it!). I am getting ready to go to the store to buy something to eat. I am thinking chicken.
Tomorrow, I will take the bus to Xela where I will be staying for couple weeks. I haven´t decided if I will do the first or second class. We will see what type of mood I am in when I wake up in the morning.

Viva Guatemala! Glad you made it there. Take pictures of the front entrance of the B&B as well as their colorful garden and post them.
Oh..when you get to Quetzaltenango Xalaju "Xela" and craving Chinese food, there is the Shai Long Chinese Restaurant on 18 Avenida 4-44 Zona 3. It's near the Market and the Mont Blanc Shopping Center (shailong@trafficman.com). Everyone craves noodles once in a while! ;D
This is Jojoe
Don't do second class even though you can get "damn quesidillas" in the bus and you might like hanging out w/chickens. Do the first class. You might end up sitting next to a HOTTIE. Enjoy your trip to Xela.

Awesome! I can't wait to see pictures!
Hmm I always wait to see if I am in a first class mood or a second class mood when I wake up, too. Come to think of it, so does Lars.
